GAK is a San Francisco-based DJ originally from Thessaloniki, Greece.
He has opened for internationally renowned Afro House artists including Liva K, Francis Mercier, Alan Dixon, and Kasango, and has performed at premier San Francisco venues such as Audio, 1015 Folsom, The Foundry, and Madarae.
GAK’s sets are high-voltage journeys through the darker, deeper edges of the dancefloor — fusing Afro-inspired rhythms with the raw momentum of progressive house and melodic techno. Favoring long blends, dramatic drops, and emotionally charged vocals, he channels influences like Adam Ten, Boris Brejcha, Maz, and Paul Kalkbrenner to craft sets built on tension, release, and forward motion. Rooted in the 120–125 bpm range, his sound locks bodies into the groove while letting off steam.
With a musical foundation spanning two decades, GAK studied classical guitar before transitioning to blues, hard rock, and heavy metal. Influenced by legends such as Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, his diverse background brings a unique depth to his electronic performances.
